Unfettered self reliance
Manasa Bagdi suffered a stroke that resulted in the paralysis of her left side a few years back, because of which she requires assistance for her daily movement. On one certain day, she suddenly fell unconscious and as she regained consciousness, she was brought to Uday, in the hope that the “online doctor” will be able to help her and her family, especially as transport costs alone will be a huge burden on the family. The “online doctor” instructed the health assistants to perform the diagnostic tests of measuring her blood pressure and blood sugar levels, it was found that her sugar levels were high and was given medicine for the same. As Uday is located very close to her home, she regularly visits Uday and is now able to come to the centre by herself, reducing her cost and reliance on her family members.
